As partners with members of our community the Moorhead Police Department actively seeks feedback from the public regarding the performance of our employees. We provide this form to assist the public in documenting instances when they feel they have received services which exceed their expectations and they wish one or more of our employees to receive recognition for a job well done.
This form is also available for persons who wish to lodge a complaint against Police Department employees or express concern over a policy or practice of the Moorhead Police Department. Members of the public who wish to file a complaint, for either poor service or officer misconduct, are encouraged to seek the assistance of a police supervisor. By working with a supervisor it may be possible for the problem to be resolved or explained to the satisfaction of all concerned. If not, the police supervisor may assist in obtaining information necessary to initiate a full inquiry into the complaint.
