Exploring Law Enforcement
Law Enforcement Exploring is a worksite-based program for young men and women who have
completed the eighth grade and are 14 years of age, or are 15 years of age but have not
yet reached their 21st birthday.

The Exploring program is specifically designed to incorporate the following experience areas:
career opportunities, life skills, service learning, character education, and leadership
experience.
- Mankato Police Explorers
The Mankato Police Explorers were chartered through Learning For Life in 1991 by the Mankato
Department of Public Safety, Police Bureau. The Mankato Police Explorers are a youth
development program for young men and women, 9th grade through 21 years old who are interested
in the career field of law enforcement.
